Admission and safety

Dear visitors,
please note the following information for your preparation prior to events in the Max-Schmeling-Halle.

Admission usually starts 1.5 h before the event or concert. Please plan to arrive early to allow enough time for our safety check. You can find all admission times in our event calendar.

Please avoid bringing larger pieces of luggage and backpacks - as only bags of size DIN A4 (20cm x 30cm) or smaller may be taken into the venue, after security check. Please note that there is a charge for handing in items of baggage larger than DIN A4 (5 Euro per piece of luggage; for home games of Füchse Berlin and BR Volleys 3 Euro per piece of luggage)

Furthermore, the carrying of notebooks, tablets, professional camera equipment, GoPros or similar technical devices is not allowed. You can find an overview of prohibited items here: Prohibited items

Helmets of all kinds are dangerous objects and should not be carried if possible.

• Bicycle helmets can be handed in free of charge at the bag drop-off point (outside, to the right in front of the arena)
• Motorbike helmets can be handed in for a fee at the bag drop-off point (outside, to the right in front of the arena)

Different or stricter regulations may apply, depending on the event and organizer. We publish corresponding information in time on our website in the respective event as well as on our Facebook page.

For smaller pieces of luggage and jackets, we have a limited number of lockers and checkrooms (2 €) inside the arena.
